Chanticleer is where we always stay when we're visiting Ashland. We recommend it very highly - pleasant staff, very comfortable rooms, every convenience you could want, and well-located for restaurants and theaters. The breakfasts are also great.

This is a lovely inn, surrounded by peaceful gardens and enveloped by the sound of flowing water from the fountain and koi pond. Spacious and gracious accommodations! Fluffy towels! Delicious breakfasts! in addition to a kind and solicitous innkeeper. I look forward to my next visit!

A darling little B and B tucked not far off the Ashland Main Street. Dean was so responsive and pleasant. We slept so well. The garden is a delightful place to drink your morning coffee and enjoy all of the innkeeper’s hard work!

Another great stay at the awesome Chanticleer Inn. Our room (Aerie) was large and had great views. The AC was nice to have but only necessary briefly this stay. The living room is an excellent place to hang out with your travel mate, friends, family, or new acquaintances. The king bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were truly excellent. The innkeeper, Dean, is very nice and very knowledgable about Ashland and the various activities around the area. The designated parking area is a bit tight and a few extra spaces would be nice but there is on-street parking which seems fine.

Warm, cozy and delicious B & B in Ashland. My husband, dog and I stayed here for two nights on our way down from the Oregon Coast back down to our home in southern California and I'm so happy we cozied up at the Chanticleer. We stayed in the Garden Room, which has its own outdoor entrance (also an indoor entrance) overlooking the garden and is very spacious (big king bed, desk, little living room space with a coffee table and loveseat, fully stocked bathroom). The bed was very comfortable, the fireplace was a wonderful touch while it was cold and rainy outside. The innkeeper Dean was kind, accommodating and helpful and he cooked a DELICIOUS breakfast, which changed each morning and was wonderful each time. The location was within walking distance of the downtown area and many restaurants and things to do. The B & B grounds seem like they would be gorgeous to enjoy if the weather was a little warmer and not raining, so we definitely need to come back! Such a lovely and cute dog-friendly B & B (our pup loved it!) that I highly recommend.

5 stars all around! The Chanticleer is a gem in Ashland. We felt pampered from the moment we arrived and enamored by the charm this B&B presented. It felt like we were characters in a storybook! We stayed in the Aerie room and it was spacious and clean and luxurious. The breakfast was so delicious and they catered to my picky diet. If we could move in, we would!
